Department of Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering के Dr. Rinku Mukherjee ने किया।
Morphing Skin
2. System flow separation
MFC-based system wing surface
Test
मौसम, aircraft speed, angle of attack, weight, control systems, engine performance, turbulence और pilot तथा automated flight-control responses जैसे कई factors एक साथ काम करते हैं।
Fuel Efficiency
Commercial aircraft: Take-off और landing जैसे phases में जहां aerodynamic margins महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं, adaptive wing surface future aircraft safety और efficiency में योगदान दे सकती है।
अन्य aerodynamic systems: IIT Madras के research portfolio में aircraft के अलावा turbines और fans के लिए external aerodynamic attachments पर भी patent work दर्ज है।
उनके publication record में 2020 में “Numerical Morphing of a Rectangular Wing to Prevent Flow Separation” और 2025 में “Unsteady Aerodynamics of the Control of Three Dimensional Flow Separation by Morphing a Wing Surface” जैसे works दर्ज हैं।
